Tonight was indoor “Spin & Win” for our Badger

Tonight was indoor “Spin & Win” for our Badgers. Coach Julie did an awesome job at her first time leading a class (turn up the audio for her motivational speech). The students picked great workout songs like “Panama.” We even pre-rode (virtually) the Snowflake race course thanks to a POV video from our friend @chloewoodruff. 7th grader Bridget was awarded a CO2 kit for her hard work while 8th grader Mason won a gift card from @highgearbicycle! Huge thanks to the @prescottymca for so generously letting us crash here on a rainy day!

Who’s ready for race #2?

After completing her 101 and 201 skills clinics, 6

After completing her 101 and 201 skills clinics, 6th grader Chloe (left) volunteered to help teach a new classmate of hers who recently arrived from Ukraine. Dima (right) just graduated from our skills courses and will be charging full speed ahead on his first trail ride at practice today! We love seeing the kids pay it forward. Someone at some time taught all of us coaches how to ride and now we are teaching others while watching some of the students also become teachers! Nice job, Badgers!

6th grader Dima just became Badger # 30 to join th

6th grader Dima just became Badger # 30 to join the team. You wouldn’t know it from this video, but he only recently arrived to Prescott from Ukraine and just completed his MTB 101 skills training last week. Here he is already rocking the MTB 201 skills this weekend! You can see his look of determination turn to joy after completing the wood drop.
